Whistle and Map[]

Under the mini map in the top right hand corner of the screen is two icons for Whistle and opening the Map. These will be different depending on use of keyboard or controller. See Controls for more information.

Whistle to call farm animals to the last position where they were. It must be used multiple times to move animals a far distance. See Sound Range for further information.

Chat and Proximity Chat[]

Press Enter to open the chat box and emote screen.

The player can use the chat box to communicate with fellow players.

Press Enter to open the chat box and emote screen. Begin typing the message and click Enter to send. The message will appear bottom left for all players on the Island.

There is also a Proximity Chat option which is a voice chat feature that allows players to hear other nearby players. To access, the host must have "Allowed Voice Chat" in the audio settings. These settings also set the toggle or hold to talk option. From there, either press v to activate or hold v to talk. The player will show a talking animation when the player is talking.

Emotes[]

The player can use emotes to quickly and wordlessly communicate with fellow players.

Press Enter to open the chat box and emote screen. Click on any emote icon and the player will perform a short animation.

PvP[]

For players to enter into PvP, press Enter to open the chat box and emote screen. The PvP button is the large red swords icon on the right.

To Activate
Click on the two parallel swords on the right side. The icon will change colour to grey and two crossed swords. A ten second cooldown will commence, after which, the icon colour will revert back to red.

To Deactivate
Click on the two crossed swords. The icon will change colour to grey as the ten second cooldown will commence, but the icon will stay as crossed swords until the cooldown has finished. After which, the icon will change colour to red and two parallel swords.

Sound Range[]

The sound range is a spherical area centered on the player's position. Not actual tile count.

The radius of each circle for these sound items is:

For example, if the player was standing on a pillar at 12 height, chooks 3 tiles away wouldn't hear the whistle.
