The Trogid can be found in the Desert at Night in Autumn and Spring. Use a bug net to catch the Trogid.

A bug net is purchased from John at John's Goods, though the first one is obtained from Fletch in the Base Tent after the player's Tent has been placed.

Bugs can be
  • Donated to the NPC Theodore Museum (one per species)
  • Sold to NPC John John's Goods
  • Sold to NPC Ted Selly Ted Selly for 2 times the value
  • Gifted to NPCs to fulfill certain daily requests
  • Placed on display in a Bug Tank Bug Tank which can be stacked two high
  • Sold to NPC Julia Julia for 2.5 times their value on the 15th of Spring and Autumn when she visits for the Bug Catching Comp
  • Dropped and released back into the wild


Season Times

Each season has its own times for day and night.
It takes an hour for the sun to set.
The night starts after the sun finishes setting.

Summer
Morning: 7am - 11am
Day: 11am - 9pm
Night: 9pm - Late
Autumn
Morning: 7am - 11am
Day: 11am - 7pm
Night: 7pm - Late
Winter
Morning: 7am - 11am
Day: 11am - 6pm
