Ted Selly is an NPC who will visit the Island in a random location. He sells hunting gear that the player cannot craft themselves.
The Breezy Autumn Update will alter the schedule of Ted Selly's appearances including details regarding the impacts of the Wish Fountain are below.
- He can be found anywhere on the map, except in deep water, if the player has the Hunting Licence Level 2.
- Ted will try to spawn after 3pm on Saturday only.
- He will not spawn close to other NPCs ~ he has to be 200 tiles away from any other NPC and the tile has to be walkable.
When Ted spawns, the player will hear a whistle and a notification will appear on screen under the mini map. He will only whistle once per day.
Some wishes made in the Wish Fountain will effect when the wandering hunter Ted Selly appears. With the Peaceful Wish, Ted will not visit the island. With the Dangerous Wish on, it is likely that he will appear after 3pm on Sunday and Wednesday as well as the Saturday.
