Theodore Museum

Every island must have a museum. And I’m talking about a proper one! There’s no better place to show off all the plants, animals, and fossils that your Island is famous for! The really smart Theodore will make sure that all your precious exhibitions are well-taken care of.

Theodore arrives at the Visitors Site after John has moved in. Simply talk to Theodore when he visits and he will say he wants to move in. The player can donate any fish, bugs or critters to Theodore even when he is in the tent.

The Museum building is owned and run by Theodore, that displays Fish, Bugs and Critters donated by the player.

At the entrance of the museum is two signs showing the numbers caught.

There are two doorways, with the bug display to the left and the fish and critter display to the right. The donations will appear in tanks inside these rooms.

100 Permit Points are awarded every time the player donates one type of each acceptable item to the Museum.

📷 The player is able to place pictures from their Camera/Camera Tripod into the picture frames in the main room of the Museum.

After completing the full Pedia of bugs, fish and critters in the Museum the Butter Glider appears on a display table behind Theodore for purchase costing 250,000 Dinks. Note: Critters caught in Crab Pots will count towards Pedia completion.

Theodore's favourite food is  Cooked Cactus Fig.

Deed[]

The Museum Deed is acquired by talking to Fletch "about the town" once Theodore is ready to move in.

Fletch will give the player the deed to decide where to place it. Construction will not start until all the required materials have been placed inside the deposit box on the build site.

There is a donation box in the Base Tent/Town Hall to pay off the Town Debt.

All debts need to be paid off in full before another deed can be applied for.

After construction commences it will take 2 nights to complete.

Moving a Building[]

To move a building, visit Fletch, select Lets talk about the town and I want to move a building.

  • The deed list provided is for the buildings currently in the town. Select the one to relocate.
  • Relocating a building will put the town 25,000 in debt.
  • Place the deed down in the new location. (Note: The new building placement cannot occupy the same area as the current building so the player must move the building to a vacant spot large enough for it first, then move it again if they wanted to move a building 1 tile or so over.)
  • Remove all carriables from inside a building before moving, otherwise these items will be left in the void.
  • To move the host's house, speak to Fletch "About my house ...". Refer to House for more information.
  • Furniture and placed items inside the house/guest house do not rotate with a new orientation.
  • The building will be moved over night.
  • No additional materials are required.
    • All the materials are here. Construction will start tomorrow.
  • If a building is already being relocated, this needs to conclude before another building can be moved.
