The Mu is a wild animal in Dinkum.
Location[]
Found in Plains.
Varieties[]

Saddled Wary Mu
Hunting[]
The various forms of the spear tend to be the most versatile weapon for hunting in game. Please see the weapons page for more information on weapon types available.
Behaviour[]
Mu are passive by default. They will not defend themselves and will flee if attacked.
Saddled Mu's require an Animal Stall for shelter. They eat Quandongs.
Trapping[]
Mus can be trapped with an Animal Trap and sent off on the Animal Collection Point. Once sent, players will receive a reward the following in-game day via the Mailbox, along with the returned trap {and for some animals maybe an additional surprise}.
Some animals may need less health to stay in a trap. Refer to the Animal Trap page for further information.
At night, players can temporarily stun an animal using a Torch or Bat Zapper. Keep in mind that the stun effect only lasts a few seconds—so it's crucial to have a trap ready and, if possible, an Animal Collection Point nearby. This ensures the player can quickly secure and send off the animal before it recovers and escapes.
Production[]
Upon death, they will drop Raw Giant Drumstick and/or Bone.
Threats[]
Mu are typically not threatened due to where they spawn but will be attacked by predators if nearby.
