The player can hang out with their favourite NPC. They will assist with logging, mining, and hunting. They will clap when the player catches a bug or fish.
The day after the player reaches two or more relationship hearts with an NPC, the "Let's hang out!" option is unlocked. Fun times ahead! 🎉
It needs to be their day off to hang out with an NPC. As Fletch, Theodore and Sheila work every day and have no days off, even though the dialogue is available, they will never hang out.
The NPC will use basic tools to assist the player. When using a spear or weapon for hunting, the NPC will use the wooden bat. When the player is holding an axe/chainsaw, the NPC will hold/use a basic axe. Same with the pickaxe/jackhammer where the NPC will hold/use a basic pickaxe.
While using the Metal Detector, when the player finds a spot, the NPC will use their shovel to dig the hole and replace the soil back. This is especially helpful when it is in Rough Soil (where the ores and opals respawn), as they won't destroy the rough soil like the player can when it turns back to dirt.
The NPCs can't travel through the tele towers, in vehicles or down into the mines or airport.
