The Fish Tanks are not a crafted item, but automatically appear when placing fish on the ground.
Note: The fish must be placed and not dropped, or else it will disappear.
To place a fish in a tank, place the fish in the toolbelt, select it, and double-click or hold left click on a mouse. Use "E" to rotate while the item is red or green before committing the placement.
Double-tap or hold "X" (or corresponding button) on an Xbox Controller. See Controls for assistance with a controller.
- The fish can be picked back up, which removes the tank.
- Only one fish can be inside the tank at a time.
- There is no visual indicator on what fish is inside the tank other than the fish itself. The player can however, use the Fish Book to see the contents of the tank.
- The player can walk on top of it.
- It can stack up 2 high on top of each other.
- Can be placed on top of some furniture items.
- Additional items or tanks can be placed and appears inside the tank. This works on top of furniture or a larger tank.
- It has a slight blue glow.
The size of fish determines the size of tank that will appear:
