Farming | Crops |
---|
Crops are vegetables and fruits that can be grown and harvested after obtaining a Farming Licence.
Obtaining[]
Harvested from farming crop seeds which are purchased from Rayne's Greenhouse. Her shop will rotate which crops are available and will only display crops for the season the player is currently in with the exception of year-round crops.
- Crops that grow all year are worth less than seasonal crops.
- Wild Animals will eat your crops if they aren't fenced off.
Note: The game counts the day the seed is planted or the crop is harvested, if it keeps producing, as the first day of the cycle. So when a seed says 6 days to grow, it'll grow 5 days after it's planted. Crops will only count growth days if the crop is watered - by rain, sprinkler or watering can.
- Example: if Kale is planted on Day 1 of Winter, it will be ready to harvest on Day 6. Then if a new seed is planted on Day 6, it will be ready to harvest on Day 11, which will be 5 days after it's planted.
Crops that sprout out to other squares are more likely to do so multiple times. Crop seeds now show how many days they require as well as the season.

Vine Info[]
Watermelons and pumpkins can create vines which grow their fruit on one of 4 adjacent tiles and do not produce on the tile they are planted on. If there is no space for the vines to grow then they won't produce any fruit. As long as there is an adjacent empty tile they will always produce at least one. Each day there is a chance for the crop to spawn a vine on an adjacent tile. The formula for a vine to spawn is "1/(x*10)" where "x" is the number of current vines from 1 to 3, this is checked after the first vine has grown.
- 0 vines = 100% chance for one
- 1 vine = 10% chance for a second
- 2 vines = 5% chance for a third
- 3 vines = 3% chance for a fourth
If the crop is fertilized this check will happen twice per night. While the seed tiles will die on the 2nd like all other seasonal crops, growing fruit will not die and can still be picked up or removed by the player.
Growth Calendars[]
These will show harvest days and regrowth based if a crop is planted on the first of a season. Some crops will have two season available to them and will continue to grow into the next one if planted in the first season.
