The Bug Tank is not a crafted item, but automatically appears when placing a bug on the ground or on top of another Bug Tank. Size is 1x1.
Note: The bug must be placed and not dropped, or else it will disappear.
To place a bug in a tank, place the bug in the toolbelt, select it, and double-click or hold left click on a mouse. Double-tap or hold "X" (or corresponding button) on an Xbox Controller. See Controls for assistance with a controller.
- The bug can be picked back up, removing the tank.
- Only one bug can be inside the tank at a time.
- There is no indicator on what bug is inside the tank other than the bug itself. The player can however, use the Bug Book to see the contents of the tank.
- The player can walk on top of it.
- It can stack up 2 high on top of each other.
- Can be placed on top of some furniture items.
