The Beach tends to be a hot and sandy coastal biome, made up either of yellow sand or red sand. They can appear inland as well as on the coastlines.
Small rocks on the yellow sand appear a different shade than those on dirt or red sand, but still drop the same Stone item.
There is abundant buried treasure along the beaches and at the water's edge.
