The Alpha Jackaroo is a wild animal in Dinkum.
Alpha's health increases in multiplayer by each additional player.

Location

Found in Bushlands. Alpha Jackaroos will only appear after the player has accepted a related task from the Bulletin Board.

Behaviour

Alpha Jackaroos are aggressive by default. Their basic attack is a telegraphed yet powerful kick. They also have stomp attack that sends multiple pulsating earthquakes around the animal.

Hunting

The various forms of the spear tend to be the most versatile weapon for hunting in game. Please see the weapons page for more information on weapon types available.

Due to the high damage and health of the Alpha Jackaroo the player may find it useful to bring combat enhancing foods such as the Dagwood Dog or Prime Roast to make it easier to fight this animal. Hit and run tactics are often required when fighting this animal as both the kick and earthquake attacks will do high damage if the player is not consistently moving.

Production

Upon death, they will drop Raw Prime Meat, and sometimes an Alpha Antler. Turning in the completed Bulletin Board task will reward a generous amount of Dinks as well.
