The Alpha Devil is a wild animal in Dinkum.
Alpha's health increases in multiplayer by each additional player.

Location

Found in Pine Forests. Alpha Devils will only appear after the player has accepted a related task from the Bulletin Board.

Behaviour

Alpha Bush Devils are aggressive by default. Their basic attack is a lunging bite. They have a multiple projectile fireball attack that will catch the target on fire if any of the projectiles connect. Their last attack is a bombardment of fire balls that will light any area of the map it lands on on fire.

Hunting

The various forms of the spear tend to be the most versatile weapon for hunting in game. Please see the weapons page for more information on weapon types available.

Due to the high damage and health of the Alpha Devil the player may find it useful to bring combat enhancing foods such as the Dagwood Dog or Prime Roast to make it easier to fight this animal. Staying right in the face of the animal is sometimes effective, as it will use it's area of effect fire bombardment attack rather than lunge and bite at times. It is helpful to fight this animal near water, as this allows the player to douse themselves of fire quickly.

Production

Upon death, they will drop Raw Prime Meat, and sometimes an Alpha Eye. Turning in the completed Bulletin Board task will reward a generous amount of Dinks as well.
